During a days target rifle training on Century Range at Bisley, seven cadets from the Squadron were able to assist the NRA at its Spring Open Day. The cadets were able to help with car parking and directing visitors to the event.

The cadets were also able to talk about their shooting activities to visitors and were lucky enough to be able to talk to National Fullbore Shooting Coaches helping at the open day.

Shooting taking place during the day included, Target Rifle, 'F' Class Rifle, Vintage Rifle and Clay Pigeon all under the instruction of qualified NRA staff and coaches. Full advantage was made of the opportunities to try the different weapons with all of the cadets "having a go" at the different disciplines available.
